The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club brings together the best parts of sports and nature. The course is located inside the incredible wildlife preserve protected by the Audubon Society, so you’ll have an incredible view during your game! The newly renovated golf course offers eighteen challenging holes that take you through the abundant natural landscape. You might even spot some wildlife like the resident alligators!
The course is open daily from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Daily rates range from $50 to $130 depending on the time of year, or if you’ll be in the area for a while, you can get a 3, 5, or 7-day pass. The Dunes is located just five minutes away from Sandalfoot, so it will take you no time at all to get on the course!
Sanibel Island Golf Club
The other major location for Sanibel Island golfing is Sanibel Island Golf Club, offering players about 6,300 yards from the back tees. Your game will take you around 150 acres of semi-manicured natural barrier island terrain, offering picturesque views of the river and the rest of the nature around you. This course is suitable for all levels of golfers, as only two greens are fronted by water and is a perfect location for getting out to enjoy the Sanibel Island weather.
Daily rates can range anywhere from $65 to $120 depending on the time of year and how many holes you wish to play. Sanibel Island Golf Club also offers three and seven-day passes, as well as 10-round passes for 18 holes and 9-hole rounds. If you’re going to be in town for a while, they also offer one-month and three-month memberships. The Sanibel Island Golf Club is only 5 minutes away from Sandalfoot, allowing you to get out the door and on the course in a hurry!
