Christmas Eve Cruises

Have you ever seen Santa wearing flip-flops? If you are lucky enough to visit Sanibel over the Christmas holidays, you have a chance to see just that. Adventures in Paradise offers two opportunities to visit with Santa and get out on the water during your visit.

Adventures in Paradise Cruises and Tours has two opportunities to celebrate Christmas Eve on the water. The first is a cruise that begins at 10:00 am and is Santa’s Dolphin & Wildlife Cruise to Picnic Island.

The cruise includes searching for dolphins in local waters and arriving on Picnic Island for a visit with Santa. Gifts will be provided for all children, and photos will be taken of the kids with Santa. If the adults have been good all year, maybe Santa will pose for a picture with you too!

This is a very popular cruise and reservations must be made beforehand to participate. The cruise runs from 10:00 am until 11:45 and is $45 for adults and $35 for children. It would be a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of Christmas and celebrate Florida style!

The second Christmas Eve cruise, the Sunset Dolphin & Wildlife Cruise, leaves the dock at 4:45 and returns at 6:15. Join other revelers aboard the “Sun Princess” as the evening approaches. The entire family can enjoy cookies and eggnog aboard, as well as soft drinks and water. Listening to tropical music, the cruise goes out into San Carlos Bay for a relaxing journey during the most visually spectacular time of day. Talks by the Captain and First Mate will add to your enjoyment. Like the trip earlier in the day, this very popular cruise needs to be booked in advance. The cost is $39 per person.
